Keep your master channel sync’d with your master channel, voici le titre retenu par Pierre Clement pour introduire la nouvelle exposition de la Maison Salvan.
Celui-ci renseigne sur la manière dont l’artiste a envisagé et réalisé la série d’œuvres exposées, composée de vingt pièces. Un système préétabli – le canal principal ? – dicte la façon dont a été réalisé chacune des pièces : une image de nature, préalablement récupérée sur internet, est reproduite sur une surface aluminium ou blanche ; elle est ensuite très régulièrement trouée puis hérissée de boulons servant au tissage d’un motif à l’aide de cordelette. Le titre décrit aussi l’expérience du visiteur confronté à ces pièces dont le principe, à la fois interne (leur composition) mais aussi externe (l’accrochage), est sériel.
